Salon treatment bed: height range is the specification.
An electric bed is bought for one reason: the therapist can set the working height instead of bending to it. Everything else, from the section count to the upholstery, is a decision about the treatment menu.

Why the motor is the first decision
A fixed height bed costs less and costs a therapist's back. The motor is the line item that decides whether the bed survives a full book.
Facial work wants a higher bed than massage. One bed cannot be both unless it moves.
SectionsBackrest and leg rest move independentlyA single motor tilts the whole top. Two or three sections make a treatment menu possible.
ServiceThe motor is a wear partAsk where the actuator sits and whether it can be reached with the bed in place.
Two bed families, compared by treatment menu
The families differ in what they are built to do, not in quality. A facial bed used for massage wears out early and reads as the wrong bed in the room.
| Family | What it is built for | Where it strains |
|---|---|---|
| Electric facial bed | A reclined client for a long treatment, with the head and back sections set independently. | Less stable under a full body massage than a four section table. |
| Electric massage table | Full body work with a flat or slightly inclined top across a longer surface. | Bulkier in a small room and harder to dress as a facial station. |
| Bed with storage drawer | Keeps linen and product at the bed instead of on a trolley. | Adds height and blocks the space under the frame that a therapist sometimes uses. |
| Fixed height bed | A second bed for a treatment that is always performed at one height. | One working height for every therapist, which is where back problems start. |
Height range, load rating and section travel are on the data sheet for the specific model, and are confirmed against it before the order.
What to settle before the bed is chosen
The room sets half of these answers. The other half is the treatment menu, which is a business decision rather than a furniture one.
- Write the treatment menu first, because a facial and a deep tissue massage want different beds.
- Measure the room with the bed at full height and the backrest raised, not at its lowest position.
- Confirm the power outlet position and whether the lead reaches it without a trailing cable underfoot.
- Decide the linen strategy: a drawer in the bed, a trolley, or a shelf, but not all three by accident.
- Ask for the actuator make and the local service route before the order, since the motor is the part that fails.

A bed is specified from the treatment menu and the room, in that order. The colour and the upholstery come last because they are the only two choices that cost nothing to change later.
